Welcome to Alexanderstone
Alexanderstone is set in a peaceful position on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, just three miles outside Brecon, in easy reach of
Llangorse Lake and on the Taff Cycle Trail. The properties have spendid views of the Beacons, wonderful walks, gardens and a field for children to play in. There is some ancient woodland and sites of special scientific interest in the immediate vicinity. The Cradoc 18 hole golf course, two miles North West of Brecon, is set in magnificent parkland and offers reduced green fees for visitors to Alexanderstone. The local pub, which has a large dining area and caters for children, is situated 1.5 miles away in the village of Groesfford.
Properties
There are two properties, Alexanderstone Manor and The East Wing, which accommodate up to 12 and 8 respectively and can be booked individually or together. The Manor house and the East Wing together make up a 15th century Grade II listed building.
Facilities
The properties are built from attractive stone and contain exposed oak beams, oak floors, and many original features. In addition the Manor has two wood-burning stoves set in inglenook fireplaces. Both properties enjoy oil-fired central heating, electric cookers, fridges and freezers, dish washers, microwaves, washing machines and driers. Also available: TV, video, DVD, bed linen, cot, high chair, BBQ, mobile phone reception, ample parking and bicycle storage. No pets please.
